For Hus' 30th birthday, we packed up our boy and headed to Columbus for a visit. Other than Adam's Grandpa, Grandma and Aunt Erica, he hadn't met the rest of the Gillespie family. We left after work on Thursday and went on a 7 hour drive hoping that Adam would be a good road tripper...
It went better than expected. Adam slept most of the way, and the time that he was awake, he was happy. It was amazing!
The weekend was great. The whole family loved Adam despite one pooping incident and some minor crankiness. Hus' mom Beth secured some great toys to keep Adam busy and show everyone his recently developed smile.
To our surprise, the ride home went just as smoothly as the ride there. Good thing it did - because we will definitely be taking another trip to Columbus soon!
