Adam's Baptism

On Sunday, we had Adam baptized. It was only a small gathering of our immediate families (which easily made 15+ people) but it was a really nice day. Even the weather cooperated - it was so mild outside that we could have walked to the church. We didn't, but we could have.
Adam wore a traditional Irish baptismal gown that was a gift from my Aunt Ann. Hus had a hard time getting over the fact that our son was wearing a "dress" but I told him that it was the last time he'll even have to wear one. The gown also came with a bonnet that my mom insisted I put on Adam for a few pictures. He looked like a little Amish baby, and pretty much all the men protested that it be taken off. I will post some pictures of both looks :)
Afterward, we had everyone back to our house for a lunch, which turned out great. Between our moms and Aunt Ann, I pretty much didn't have to cook anything. The food was excellent! Thanks so much everyone!
