Wow, it's a girl! I can barely believe it myself. I cried when the doctor told us. Tears of joy of course ... I was just in shock! I was convinced that I'd have another boy! Good thing we had our girl name all sorted out.
Meredith was born on Thursday, July 1st at 5:35 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs, 1 oz. A lot less than her brother, which was a wonderful surprise for me. The whole process was pretty good, and we are so glad to be home. Adam was a little confused at first, but now on Day 2, is taking a liking to her. He is saying a semblence of "Meredith" and is trying to share his toys, his milk, and anything else considered to be a treasured possession. He's going to be a great brother.
