Last weekend, we roadtripped to Zanesville, OH, for Hus' friend Danny's wedding. We had a great time catching up with some friends and Hus' family. Adam stayed over with his Aunt Erica and had a fun time :) I was worry free the whole weekend knowing that he was in good hands. It was nice to sleep in for two mornings in a row too!
The next morning was Mother's Day. Adam got me a card and a new pair of flip flops - how thoughtful of him!We then had lunch with Hus' family at an old fashioned ice cream parlor in Zanesville, called Tom's Ice Cream Bowl. If you're ever in the area, you've got to stop there :) They had simple diner-type sandwiches on the menu, which was good -- but the main event was the ice cream for dessert. Everyone indulged in delicious hot fudge sundaes and walked away happy. Yum!
This is a pic that Hus' mom Beth took outside the ice cream parlor to commemorate our first Mother's Day. It was a great one.
