4th of July

Happy 4th! Here are some belated pics from the 4th of July in Avalon ... it was a relaxing and beautiful weekend.

It was hard to keep Adam from getting sand all over himself. At the end of the day, we just let him loose. He was a little scared of the ocean, and it was pretty cold, so he went straight into the bathtub to wash off.

Enjoying a pretzel rod ... which was great because it provided entertainment for a solid ten minutes.

Here's our little surfer dude in his baby pool. It was great for keeping him in one place and away from the sand.

Adam was so exhausted from playing on the beach that he slept soundly through extremely loud fireworks! The beach was a nice way to spend our summer holiday.
