First off, Adam is officially 9 months today. I literally see him changing from a baby into a little boy right before my eyes. I can't believe he'll be 1 in 3 months! Wow!
On Saturday, my cousin Melody came over to visit Adam. She hasn't seen him since he was 6 weeks old. Such a difference! Melody brought over some toys for Adam, including a blow-up pool and pool toys. So, since it was record breaking highs over the weekend, Hus pumped up the pool and we had a little impromptu pool party in the backyard.
Hus filled the pool with a couple inches of water from the hose. We let it sit for about a half hour, thinking that the water would get warm in the sun. But no ... it was still ice cold!
I stuck Adam's feet in, which he didn't seem to mind, and he sat down. After the initial shock, he happily splashed around in the water while the rest of us shrieked - just putting our feet in :)
Adam had a great time playing around ... we will have to host more pool parties throughout the summer. Who knows, we could have the new neighborhood hangout on our hands!
