It's a Throw Up

Yesterday we went to the doctor for Adam's 9 month checkup. He weighs close to 22 lbs, not surprisingly! No wonder he's such a load to carry! He is around the 80th percentile on the growth chart. The doctor also said that he looks like an early walker ... and that I should start bolting down everything in the house. Ha ha ... I don't think we have to wait til he walks, because he's already into everything!

Everything else was great at the appointment. Just one shot for Hep B, which wasn't a big deal.
The also doc said that I should start giving Adam tastes of more table foods. So last night I gave him tiny bits of cheese and bread, which he seemed to enjoy ... until I could tell that he had too much in his mouth and couldn't swallow ... and Adam threw it all up at once, along with the peas he had just eaten. So we'll wait another week to try cheese and bread again... I felt horrible!

Here are some pics of Adam standing in his crib. He will hang out there for a looooooong time -- til we come get him down, because he doesn't know how to do that yet.
When I walk in, he just seems so proud of himself, it makes me laugh everytime. Check out the bedhead too...!
