Car With 9 Lives

I've had my Jeep for almost 8 years. Hard to believe it's lasted that long because it seems like there is always something strange happening to it. And just when we think, "Ok, this might be it for the Liberty!", the problem works itself out ... thankfully in an inexpensive way most of the time.
On Saturday, Hus couldn't get the driver side seatbelt to work. Obviously, that's a problem that needs to be fixed right away. We were dreading to hear how much this would take to get repaired at the Jeep dealer. I called around to a couple places, and since a lot of Chrysler dealerships have closed lately, couldn't get very far. Hus then joked about going to a junkyard and getting a seatbelt part so he could install it himself.
And yesterday, Hus actually called a junkyard ... and got the part! He installed it, and miraculously, my seat belt works! Even the electrical connection (icon on the dashboard) works!
Once again, the Liberty has narrowly escaped trade in. Unbelievable. It has to be down to only 3 lives at this point.
